ACIAR  genetic testing on Cacaofiji farms

We were privileged to have visitors at our farm via Aciar funding to assist in genetic identification and testing to find the unique and best flavors. The team headed by Yan, Natalie of Queensland and John of SPC, took samples of cocao pods in various parts of Fiji. Cacao Fiji is excited about the possibilities of unique flavor given that Fiji has a documented history of coca farming dating back to the last 18th century when cocoa farming was introduced by the British.
